Dr. Lawrence B. Dumas, Provost of the Northwestern University, visited Tsinghua on June 29. Tsinghua Vice President Hu Heping had a talk with Dr. Dumas.
Vice President Hu and Dr. Dumas exchanged ideas on student cultivation and recent development of the two universities during their talk. They also discussed cooperation between Tsinghua and Northwestern University in students and faculty exchange and research.
Dr. Dumas visited the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology after the meeting.
